Even after Michael's untimely death on June, 25, 2009, the King has been breaking records musically left and right and now he can add the movies into the mix!



London, where Mike was set to make his comeback for his This Is It Tour, has already sold out all their tickets for the movie within 24 hours; with Tokyo and Sydney having similar outcomes since the pre-released tickets went on sale!



Reports are saying This Is It, which Sony acquired the rights to, has sold $1 million worth of tickets already and the movies not out for another month!



"With reports still coming in from nations around the world, it is believed no movie in history has generated so many ticket sales so far in advance of its release." Sony said.




Remember the flick is only out for 2 weeks so good luck on gettin a ticket!

EMINEM'S NEW MOVIE W/ MARKY MARK?

Mark Whalberg & Eminem aren't considered the best of friends (remember TRL) so when I heard that the two may be starring in a film together I was shocked!




No word on the title or what the film will be about just yet, except that Eminem would be playing Whalberg's brother, a role originally belonged to Matt Damon.

MTV GOES WOLF, THE SMURFS, KELLZ & THE KING, HALLE BERRY HAS ANOTHER BERRY & IS SOLANGE D.C CHILLIN?

MTV Senior VP of series development Liz Gateley says MTV's shooting a pilot for a show based off the movie saying, "It has more of an American Werewolf in Paris feel to it. It's a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the center who provide a great comedy element: They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques."




The show is said to be completely different from the original.




MTV's hopping off the reality TV hoopla in exchange for substance? You don't say!

Could it be true? A Bad Boys 3?!

Columbia Pictures confirmed they're working on a Bad Boys 3, bringing back together producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Michael Bay (recently did Transformers 2) & of course Martin Lawrence and Will Smith as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

Everyone is in agreeance for the third installment but no word yet if the studio would be able to afford the production.

50 CENT'S ALBUM PUSHED BACK

It feels like 50's Before I Self Destruct album is never coming out!




His latest work has been pushed back again, this time to November!




But don't feel bad for Fiddy just yet! Word has it the reasonfor the late arrival of his album is because he planned a trip to Canada to audition for the role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie causing conflicts with the release.




50 Cent is definitely trying to pick up his acting game! And pssstttt. I hear Game was auditioning for the role as Mr. T too.

BRAD PITT ADMITS TO BEING A STONER?

The handsome Brad Pitt was on Real Time with Bill Maher recently & spoke candidly about his views on religion, gay marriage & love for legalizing marijuana:

Quentin Tarantino the director for Inglourious Bastards also says that when he went to France to pitch the idea to Pitt about being in the movie, Tarantino says the two went through 5 bottles of wine & some hash that Brad generously gave to him!




What's even funnier is Tarantino asked for a pipe to smoke it out of & Brad just handed him a soda can to use LOL. Can we say expert????

EVA LONGORIA & BEYONCE LESBIAN LOVE?

You might have heard the rumor a while ago about Eva Longoria & Beyonce possibly starring in a lesbian flick together.



Well the rumors are resurfacing & it looks like the movie may be a go! The ladies will be starring in Tipping The Velvet, a book written by Sarah Waters; based in the 1800's about Nancy Astley (who Eva would play), an oyster girl from the English town of Whistable who falls in love with a male impersonator and stage performer named Kitty Butler (Beyonce's character) while dealing with the economic class & oppression during the time.




And word has it the 2 ladies will be doing a sex scene together. Guess those rumored private room strip clubs trips Beyonce occasionally went to holds some truth.




No idea yet if it'll keep its timeline in the 1800's or whether it'll be adapted into a modern story for the big screen but one thing is certain, all the men in the world are gonna love this one while Beyonce is definitely pulling out all the stops to win that Oscar she's been dreaming about. Tread carefully B, Jake Gylenhall & Heath Ledger went all in for Brokeback Mountain & didn't win nothing but a gay scene they want erased from all our minds!

KANYE WEST TO STAR IN MOVIE

Kanye West seems to have the Midas touch since everything he puts his hands on turns to gold, so a movie career isn't that far of a stretch.




'Ye is teaming up with his Flashing Lights music video director Spike Jonze to star in a short movie called We Were Once A Fairytale.




The short film will involve Kanyeezy playing himself while pulling a small rodent out of his chest and vomiting rose petals.





Sounds like a cult classic to me.

G.I JOE GOES #1

G.I Joe: Rise Of The Cobra scored big in the box office opening weekend!



The action flick made $56.2 million which made it the fourth-largest August debut of any film ever & making it number one!

And for something that's way off topic, now I'm hearing that Paula Abdul could very well be taking a permanent seat at the judges table for Dancing with The Stars!

She has her first book coming out later this year which will include details about her life, her issues with self-esteem, her career in music, tv and movies, as well as a look into her love life. Then a few months after and into the new year, we can all see her in Tyler Perry's sequel Why Did I Get Married Too & the best for last, a new album which she's working on with legendary producers; the ones who were responsible for all the great music she put out at the start of her career, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. The album is slated to be released the first quarter of 2010.

Janet should've teamed up with those two, 2 albums ago!

In other movie news, the hotness Justin Timberlake will be starring in a new movie called The Open Road slated to be released sometime next year.

The movie centers on the adult son of a baseball legend who, together with his girlfriend, embarks on a road trip with his estranged father.

According to the NY Daily News, there's a rumor that The Sopranos will be turning into a movie!




The Sopranos' producer David Chase isn't entertaining the idea about the possibility of a movie in the works, but some cast members are suggesting that a script is already developing!

The major holdup of the project some believed is due to James Gandolfini's reluctance to take part in the flick! However, according to Lorraine Bracco, that is not the reason saying, "I think it's really trying to get the right script. Without the right script, it's really not worth doing. We've all talked to David to give him a kick in the booty to get it right."

Another Soprano's alum and Bruce Springsteen bandman Steve Van Zandt opened his mouth hinting to the possiblity to a Belfast newspaper that his character Sil is very much "still alive".

Lemme tell you. The flick will surely rake in, in the box office!

CHRIS TUCKER OWES UNCLE SAM

Comedian Chris Tucker is being sued by the state of California for reportedly owing $3.6 million in taxes!!

According to the tax lien, he owes state taxes for the years between 2001-02 and between 2004-07.

WANTED SEQUEL & KING KONG PREQUEL

Producers of the movie Wanted gave up some enlightening info while at Comic-Con this past weekend.




The beautiful Angelina Jolie will reprising her role again in a Wanted sequel!




I know the fellas are loving that.

And our favorite gorilla King Kong is coming back as well!

The king of the jungle will be hitting screens again but this time as a prequel.

Spirit Pictures purchased the rights to the novel, Kong: King of Skull Island, a prequel to the original tale of the 2005 remake of King Kong. The prequel's storyline will touch on how Kong became King of Skull Island and introduces new characters, including dinosaurs and other gorillas.

FREDDY IS BACK!

2010 Freddy's coming for you!

April 30, 2010 to be exact. The poster for Samuel Bayer's remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street was displayed at Comic Con in San Diego a couple of days ago.

Actor Jackie Earle Haley will be playing dream killer Freddy Krueger.

The Freddy movies use to scare the shit out of me when I was young and I use to get serious nightmares!




And the remake looks just as scurry!!

WORLD OF WARCRAFT COMING TO THE BIG SCREEN

All you World of Warcraft nerds, you're all gonna die when I tell you this!




The game will be adapted into an action packed movie!




The major motion picture will have big time producer Sam Raimi from The Dark Knight and the director of Spiderman attached to it.

Raimi says he will begin working on the Warcraft movie once he's finished working on Spiderman 4. No further details are available at this point.

To the ones who are clueless about this game, it is absolutely addictive. Why? I do not know but there are millions upon millions of Warcraft followers all around the world and they take the game very seriously. KID DRINKS GASOLINE TO BE LIKE OPTIMUS PRIME

I couldn't believe this myself when I read it!



A 14 year old boy who lives in Shanghai was taken to the hospital because of his gasoline drinking habit!




Gasoline???? The stuff we put in our cars????!!! HUH?!!

The boy was drinking it to become like his hero from Transformers, Optimus Prime!

His parents, who also drink gas themselves, finally saw a problem with it when their child was incapable of adding 7 and 17.

Umm, that's when they saw a prob with it????

According to a doctor at the Shanghai hospital,"gasoline contains a lot of lead, which can do harm to people's brains. To make thing even worse, the boy is in the physical development stage, and the lead has caused serious damage to his body."

The parents never explained reasons why the family was drinking gasoline in the first place.

Unbelievable.

HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOODED PRINCE

As expected, Harry Potter and The Half Blooded Prince opened to #1 in the box office this weekend with $79.5 million, bringing the movie's weekly total including Wednesday's midnight opening to $159.7 million.



The movie is off to the fastest overall start in franchise history:







The trailer looks incredible! The Harry Potter phenomenon has brought in a total of $4.5 billion throughout the years.

TIM BURTON'S ALICE IN WONDERLAND
