IS THAT YOU MARIAH??

I didn't wanna post this because I wanted the memorable moments of the MJ memorial, but it's too funny for me:

What is wrong with Mariah's voice?!!!! I am the ultimate Mariah Carey fan and this performance disappointed the shit out of me.

She had a voice of an angel and now she sounds worse than Cassie! And what is really good with all that hand swaying???!

UPDATE:

So Mariah has an explanation for her off key, off pitch, tone deaf performance of I'll Be There at the memorial yesterday and she writes via Twitter:

Just recovering from the day. Still filled w/sadness as we listen to KJLH in LA (Stevie Wonder's radio station) paying tribute to MJ. Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me.

One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people. He inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts.

What do you think? Did she just stink or was she truly heartbroken???? Hmmmm.

I mean, she usually sings very well at her performances. I figured she just didn't warm up before she stretched those vocal chords, but I know for sure her preparation before every performance is insane. She keeps quiet, doesn't talk to anyone, drinks lots of tea with honey and lemon and breathes into a humidifer. Plus, I highly doubt she'd wanna screw up a dedication like this.

Sooooo I'm gonna go with heartbroken. Thank lawd Mariah! You scared me for a second! Btw, if you look closely towards the end of the song, Trey Lorenz and Mariah's expression does back up what she says. . .

*** As far as MJ updates, ABC News has confirmed reports that Michael's arms were found during the autopsy to be marred with track marks consistent with intravenous use of Diprivan, most commonly used to put hospital patients to sleep in the operating room or an intensive care unit.

Again, toxicology reports are not due to be released for another four to six weeks so the cause of death on his death certificate was listed as deferred.

These doctors are on the chopping block now man!! Rot in hell bitches. You knew it was no good for him!!!

MICHAEL JACKSON PUBLIC MEMORIAL

As expected, the memorial was touching, sad, loving and above all else a send off for the incredible Michael Jackson.

Fans watched on outside the Staples Center, in nearby theaters, on jumbotrons, TV, internet, everywhere around the globe. . .

I cried more then a river today. . . I cried more than an ocean. Some speeches brought tears to my eyes, some brought laughter, the performances were incredible.

Here are some moments of the night that truly touched my heart:

As the Jackson brothers carry in Michael's casket and the choir sang. The whole family sat in the front row wearing clothing designed by Donatella Versace for this event from the fashion house Versace . Michael loved the brand and often wore on it on and off stage. The brothers all donned white gloves in remembrance.

Michael loved to laugh. . .=( Brooke Shields truly made him human and not someone who pretty much is out of our stratosphere. I cried my eyes out during this heartfelt speech. . .

You can hear the hurt and sorrow while Stevie played. Needless to say it was a tearjerker for me!

The words I loved most from Rev. Al Sharpton's speech were "Wasn't nothing strange about your daddy. . . it was strange what he had to deal with," when he was addressing Michael's children. I couldn't have put it any better.

Jennifer Hudson's voice really set the tone for this song. But the most emotional part was towards the end when Michael's voice was played. . .

I'm so happy that Magic spoke on his KFC memory of Michael. It took a lil bit away from the sadness in the room but it still touched everyone's heart. Michael was a normal person. Kobe mentioned an interesting fact if you all didn't know yet, Michael is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most charities involved by an entertainer, he really did want to heal the world. . .

Usher singing Gone Too Soon. . my lawdddd =*(

House Rep Shiela Jackson Lee's speech touched on what some have overlooked about Michael. . . he was truly a humanitarian & he's always said that his purpose in life was to give back. We will absolutely remember him forever and ever and ever.

Michael actually told Jermaine at a family get together that he was working on a rendition of the song called Smile so it made perfect sense for him to sing it for the world to hear. . . We know already from Brooke Shields that Michael's favorite song was Charlie Chaplin's Smile. I could barely contain myself watching Jermaine sing this. . .

Just in case you missed the very beginning, Motown legend Smokey Robinson read letters from both Diana Ross (who was suppose to be there) & political hero of Africa Nelson Mandela.

Smokey speaks later about his little brother Michael. . .

Everyone joined towards the end of the memorial to sing along to We Are The World & Heal The World. ABC News reported that people who were watching this all across the world swayed their hands in harmony to the song. . .

The last words by Marlon & Michael's daughter Paris. . .I can't even begin to explain the tears streaming down my face and the pain I felt from them. Neither can the world . . . This really brought everything into perspective, Michael as a brother, a father and a beautiful individual. . . Everytime I watch this footage I cry even more then I did before! Paris & Marlon really broke my heart. . .

There is no other artist who've touched the lives of so many across the world.

ABC News said that Princess Diana's funeral was the most watched ever for a public memorial but Michael's service will surely surpass that.

Michael was also at Princess Diana's funeral. She was a dear friend to him & he even dedicated the song "Smile" to her. =(

For some odd reason, even though the memorial was beautiful, I feel like. . . there's more to be done for his legacy and memory. I wish the service went on for 3 hrs because I don't believe anyone is ready to let go of the great Michael Jackson just yet. . .

Speaking of letting go, it was reported that Michael's casket would be laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial where he was embalmed. The greats such as Humphrey Bogart, Ed McMahon, John Ritter, Better Davis and Phil Hartman were all buried there.

However TMZ is reporting that Michael will not be buried there and that the body will go somewhere else pending final burial.

Well wherever he's buried, he is at peace. Like Marlon said:

"They can leave him alone now."

We love you Michael!!!

I SHOULDN'T POST THIS. . .

I know Michael Jackson's memorial is airing today but I wanted to post these 2 videos.
This is Debbie Rowe:

Does she really seem like the person to take total care of Paris, Prince Michael I & II??? I mean really.

And here is a clip of Congressmen Peter King from Long Island talking reckless:

Shame on you !!!!!

Don't forget to watch Michael's public memorial service today on all major TV networks!!

750 million to 1 billion people are expected to watch it worldwide!

MICHAEL JACKSON MEMORIAL TOMORROW & HIS SPIRIT LIVES ON. . . LITERALLY???

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th pf July. I know I certainly did! Great times.

Moving on to the good stuff!! Lots of things happened over the course of the holiday weekend and I'm going to try my best to post all the ones that I feel are the most blog worthy!

Starting with the one & only Michael Jackson. Michael's public memorial is going to be held tomorrow at the Staples Center and it will surely be one set for the record books!

  • The service is going to be broadcasted on all major TV networks and is expected to draw in close to a million fans to the center. The LAPD and other officials will be trying their very best to contain the crowds just in case it gets out of hand. However, some officers believe that the capacity crowd expected will out number their entire force! Let's see how this turns out tomorrow and see how many people will show up when over 500 million hits were made on the Staples Center website after the news broke that the memorial would be held at the location. You be the judge of how many will gather to see the King of Pop.

Ron Boyd (family friend), Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Andrae Crouch Choir; Barry Gordy, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain’s Got Talent), Magic Johnson, Martin Luther King III, Bernice A. King, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooke Shields, Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend), Usher and Stevie Wonder are all participants in the service tomorrow.

  • On the investigation side, police are looking to question 5 doctors who may have prescribed or given Michael the drugs without authorization and a judge recently gave the okay for 3 search warrants on three different doctors; the reason still being unclear.
Dr. Conrad Murray, who everyone believed to be responsible for the singer's death and the same person that denied he ever injected MJ with Diprivan (an anesthic medicine that was found all over Michael's home), is not authorized to prescribe or to administer any medicines; he is only liscensed in Nevada not in California.

People are saying that foul-play is not entirely ruled out after receiving the results of the 2nd autopsy. But of course, nothing can be certain until the toxicology reports come back.

Lastly, an unbelievable footage of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch has hit all over the internet! It's a recent video clip during CNN Larry King's interview with Jermaine Jackson in which Larry's cameras was given access to video tape inside Michael's Neverland home.

I won't say anymore but just take a look. The footage has not been altered! This is the original footage , as it was seen and broadcasted live on CNN. Many people have commented on the video saying that they too in fact saw the unusual "thing" while watching it on TV.

It's a little eery yet surprisingly calming to me. I believe in the spirit world so I'm going to say that it can very well be Michael's spirit.,. Neverland is his home and creation, but then again it can be a shadow of somebody else walking into the next room as some have said it was to be... right???

MICHAEL JACKSON PUBLIC VIEWING OFFICIAL DETAILS

Michael with his daughter Paris.

Paris & Prince Michael I- how beautiful are they!

Michael with the godfather to his children Al Mahnik. I love this picture! It shows Mike's goofy side that everyone who knew him loved.

Intimate look with Michael and his 3 children. ("Blanket" aka Prince Michael II on his lap)

What a difference. He really looks a bit bizarre here.

Its official!!! A public memorial is indeed happening!!

The service will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center and it'll also broadcast at the Los Angeles' Nokia Theater nearby.

For the thousands who won't get in, the memorial will be shown on giant screens outside the venue.

I wonder if it'll be on TV??? I hope so and will it top the attendance record previously held by Elvis' funeral???

DETAILS OF MICHAEL'S WILL

So MJ's will was filed in court today and the details have been leaked:

  • His mother Katherine will be the legal guardian of his 3 children; should his mother pass, then Diana Ross will become their legal guardian
  • He is worth more than $500,000,000. All of the estate consists of non-cash, non-liquid assets, including primarily an interest in a catalog of music royalty rights (includes The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Niel Diamond, Lady Gaga, The Jonas Brothers ) which is currently being administered by Sony/ATV, and interests in various entities.
  • The Michael Jackson Family Trust (his 3 children and Katherine) will receive all of his estate
  • Some will be distributed to charities
  • Six relatives, which include Tito's three sons, are listed as contingent remainder beneficiaries. Meaning, they'd only share the estate if Michael's children or Katherine passed away before Michael did.

UPDATE:

The Jackson family put out a statement saying the public viewing of Michael will not be held at Neverland Ranch and that memorial services and public viewing details will be given shortly.

It's rumored that the public viewing would be held at the Los Angeles Staples Center but that's not yet confirmed.

According to E! News, Michael's body is currently being held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills, where he's expected to be buried.

I feel bad for all those people who bought hotel rooms all near and around Neverland Ranch! I read that some hotels sold out completely in 20 minutes!
