There's an exciting rumor going around that Jennifer Lopez will be taking Paula Abdul's seat as judge on American Idol!




Sources are saying that producers & JLo's team are negotiating and are very close to sealing the deal!




That would be so cool to see her as a judge on Idol. It would only help her career now. Hey I'd probably watch the show more if she were on!




And don't feel bad for Paula. Producers of the show So You Think You Dance are reaching out & want her to become a judge on their show now!




I think Paula judging a dance show, something she knows very well, makes way much more sense than her judging someone's singing capabilities.

DIDDY'S MAKING HIS BAND

I am absolutely addicted to Diddy's new show Making His Band. It's such a different take from the shows nowadays that's looking to put music groups together. With this show, instead of voices, people who play instruments get to showcase their talents!




This was yesterday's episode where Diddy takes vocal lessons for the first time:

Haha. It's funny listening to him sing plus this reminds me of the times during choir practice with Mr. Schorr & Mrs. Lehman.

That's some music he's making with his new crew Dirty Money. At first I was skeptical that they'd release any innovative music as they claim they would be doing, but after hearing this song here done in the studio over the Jay-Z Streets Is Watching beat, I must say, they've got a hit on their hands!!

KATIE HOLMES CAN SING . . . AND DANCE???

I saw this and just had to post it!

People know Katie Holmes from the hit show Dawson's Creek playing loveable tomboy Joey, or more recently as Tom Cruise's wife and mother to her adorable daughter Suri.



Well what if I told you that homegirl can sing and dance???? See for yourself:

She performed this on an episode of So You Think You Can Dance on FOX. A lot of people have been criticizing Holmes, saying she doesn't know how to dance or sing and that she completely bombed her performance.




Not me. I think she did her thing! And who knew someone with such a polite, quiet demeanor had such a killer voice!!

KIM KARDASHIAN WANTS TO SING??

Kim Kardashian is a big J.Lo fan. She's made it known so that we all know. And she is willing and trying to follow in her idol's footsteps. So what's next on the agenda??


Well it turns out that the reality tv queen wants to try her hand at...


SINGING!


Someone pass me a gun now so I could put myself out of misery.


She said that producers ask her all the time if she sings and if she'd want to. What kind of music would she do?


“I’d have to hear a song and feel it out and see if it’s something I’d sound good at. I would like the music to sound a bit like Lady GaGa, Britney Spears and J.Lo with a bit of an R’n’B twist to it. Filming the video would be fun, that would be the best bit.”

She added, “I’ve decided this year I’m going to do things that are outside my comfort zone, so I think I might try a little bit here and there and just see what happens with it.”

Babygirl said that filming the video is the best part of singing??!! I know all of our musical legends are turning in their graves as I type this. Why am I not surprised that filming a video would be her favorite part?? Haha.

If you wanna keep going with your fashion thing, clothing stores and tv series, I suggest you don't take this route Kim.

Please girl! Stick to fashion and whatever it is your famous for doing!!!
