What a strange couple. . .




Anyhoo, San Diego Chargers' Shawne Merriman was arrested for choking & holding his girlfriend, reality TV star Tila Tequila, against her will at his San Diego home!




Tequila signed a citizen's arrest warrant charging Merriman with 2 felonies; battery and false imprisonment & was taken to a nearby hospital to get treated although she suffered no injuries.




The conflict now is both have 2 completely different accounts of what happened that night. Tila says she was absolutely one hundred percent sober when the attack occurred & when she filed the report. Merriman claims Tila was drunk out of her mind & was trying to keep her safe in his house because he was worried something would've happened to her since she was so intoxicated. However,Tila claims that she doesn't drink which is ironic since her stage name is Tila Tequila!

Merriman spent about 2 1/2 hours in the downtown jail before posting bail.

Merriman practiced Monday, then said he's convinced he'll be cleared. It will ultimately be up to the District Attorney's office to decide if he'll be charged. Merriman said the following, "I think when it all surfaces, it will be a different situation. Period. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided. We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety.

JUELZ SANTANA GETS ARRESTED FOR THREATS

Dipset member Juelz Santana was arrested last night at his home in New Jersey!




Cops were at his house after a call was placed via his alleged wife (huh?!) who said he was threatening to kill her & she was scared for her life!




True story??? Course not.




Juelz' reps sent out a statement today saying that the woman is not his wife, she lied about the whole situation and he's been released from jail.

FORMER "DA BAND" MEMBER IS GOIN TO NEED MORE THAN A BAND AID!

There was plenty of fighting verbally & physically on season two of Making The Band between all the cast mates. But for some reason the R&B singer of the group Sara Stokes was never involved in any altercations until now!







It's being reported that Stokes was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence for stabbing her husband/manager Tony in the arm in front of their children!

She and her husband Tony fought on August 2 & during the argument, Stokes stormed out of the house when she tripped and fell. She accused her husband of doing it and allegedly stabbed him in the arm as her three children watched.

However Stokes' lawyers' statement to the press says otherwise, "Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured."

Passionate my ass. More like brutal!! And I hear the reason why Sara got those watermelon sized implants in the first place was because of her husband!




Somethin must've triggered this disaster & I gotta feelin it may have been Tony's dooshbag fault.

Anyway so now we all can remember 4 things about Making The Band 2:

1. Da Band was a sucky name for a group. Whoever thought of that should be strangled.
2. Dylon, Dylon & Dylon. LOL
   
3. Da Band had to walk from Uptown all the way to Brooklyn to get some Junior's cheesecake & let me tell you, that is a walk!
4. Stokes stabbed her husband.
   

E. S. P. JEN: PLAXICO BURRESS INDICTED

Former New York Giant wide receiver Plaxico Burress was indicted by a grand jury today on weapons charges stemming from the shooting of himself in the thigh in New York's Latin Quarter nightclub last fall.

After testifying before a grand jury, Burress was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment.

Plax could face a minimum of 3 1/2 years in convicted.

Ain't that bitch. He has a bullet wound caused by himself & now might go to jail. SMH.

JOJO'S ARREST ON RUNS HOUSE TOMORROW

If you guys haven't been in the loop, Rev Run's eldest son JoJo Simmons was arrested in May after buying marijuana in Washington Heights in NYC.

But besides the criminal possession charges, the 19 year old was also charged with reckless endangerment for crashing his BMW into a parked car in an attempt to flee.

A hot mess. My lawd!

Well in the episode tomorrow airing on Run's House on MTV, the family are going to address the issue for all to see. The episode shows Russell Simmons reminding Reverend Run on his own past before being quick to condemn his young son.

“It’s not about you,” Russell Simmons says in reaction to the incident. “You were a chimney when you were his age. You smoked up the whole house!”

“Well put it this way,” Run responded. “I did smoke weed, but that’s not the point. I’m hoping we can say something to him so that he won’t continue to get a rap sheet. Because if he ever does something again, they don’t just slap him on the wrist.”

The Run’s House episode will air on MTV tomorrow at 10PM.
