WHITNEY HOUSTON ON OPRAH & MILLION DOLLAR BILL VIDEO

The fabolous Whitney Houston was on Oprah for the season premiere of the show in a 2 part interview that aired Monday & Tuesday. The interview is truly riveting & really sheds light on Whitney's troubles and horrible addictions to drugs and abusive love, & spraypainted evil eyes via Bobby Brown:

The fans love her that much more because of her willingness to open up and share her stories. . . and that includes me!

You know Bobby wasn't gonna let her get away with it. Here's his side of the story:

Oh Bobby. . .

Lastly, Whitney debuted the video for her song Million Dollar Bill:

She looks gorgeous!!

WAL-MART HATING ON THE QUEEN

Whitney Houston's new album, I Look To You, scheduled for release on September 1st will not be carried by megastore Wal-Mart.

Instead, the chain store will carry Miley Cyrus' new album, which is dropping the same day.

Why the??? How the???

That's not right! If you guys didn't know, Wal-Mart is the first place labels send large quantities of their artists' new albums/singles to!

I hope this doesn't affect Whitney's sales. . .

R KELLY NEW ALBUM CALLED "UNTITLED"

The Pied Piper is back & is bringing a new album called Untitled with him!

R Kelly went about creating his comeback album a different way by throwing parties at his house to test his songs to see what worked, what made the ladies dance and what got the people on their feet & even went so far as to work with Southern producers to tweak his old school R&B style while generating a new edgy yet R Kelly sound.

He invited lots of industry people to his house over the weekend to listen to his new music & sources say that while on the tour of his studio, they found it to be very small with no vocal booth; instead there was just a microphone, a mirror right next to it and a keyboard that Kelly performs on and on top of that, they discovered he never writes any of his music down!

Here's some inside scoop from the horse's mouth via Bossip:

The Pied Piper’s explanation on the mirror:

That’s ego, I’m not going to lie. If I can’t really feel myself, you know I like to go upstairs and change my clothes and get swagged out and put on my little stoney glases and get me a stogie and I look in the mirror at myself sometimes and I can write and then the song will come. I’m looking in the mirror and I’m seeing Kells now, I’m not seeing Rob the mama’s boy. If I see Kells swagged out, then I say this is right right here. You have to have enough ego to be confident enough to get yo swag on while your writing certain songs. It doesn’t really hurt to look at yourself and really get into it.

Since you don’t write down your songs how do you relay the lyrics to people?

Some of them understand my process. Whitney that’s like my sister, we get into it all the time but she didn’t understand the process and Toni Braxton didn’t understand the process. You have to talk about them and crack on them. I’m a “mama jokes” specialist. Sometimes you got to get to cracking and ribbing on people to let them know how real yo a** is and ghetto you is and then once you get that out the way…

Kells: Now say this [starts singing] As I Lay Me Down… now say that

Whitney: what the f*ck you mean say that…. that’s all you got…

Kells: Hell yeah, that’s all I got but just say that for right now, you gone have to trust me some [ continues singing... "I Look To You"] and then now when it all starts to come together halfway through the song… Now yo a** wants to believe me… yeah whatever.

Is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to work with?

I want to get in with Stevie [Wonder] man… I want to get in with Stevie but I really want to get in with Stevie Wonder because Stevie continues my legacy and then I can continue his legacy. And then Stevie of course, he’s done so many hits, its like sometimes its hard to get with somebody else that’s going to continue your legacy. It was pretty hard for me and I understand I got to go to Atlanta to work with these new and younger producers and stuff if I want to stay current. I realize that I got something to give them too, I got something to feed to them but I got to realize they can feed me too. So its like hard to let your ego down and you’ve written so many hits for yourself and did everything, keyboard, production, everything yourself. It’s hard to all of a sudden say… Hold on Kells… so I think it was pretty hard for Stevie to just say, “Oh wait a minute, I got to do this with another younger guy.” Then Happy People kind of died out and then I ended up putting it on the Stepper’s Album. So it was cool though.

Kellz was also in the process of writing about five songs for Michael Jackson (a close friend) when he passed away and plans on finishing that project.

Untitled will be released on October 13th and a 36 city tour called Ladies Make Some Noise will kick off on October 8th right before the album drops.

Looks promising!

NEW MUSIC: WHITNEY'S MILLION DOLLAR BILL & T-PAIN'S MIAMI DOLPHINS

Time for some new music. Here is Whitney's newest single off of her comeback album called Million Dollar Bill, which was produced by Alicia Keys & Swizz Beats. People are giving mixed reviews but I like it!:

QUEEN OF THE NIGHT

Whitney Houston's listening party went down at the Lincoln Center Jazz Center last night.

Music executives, celebrities like Martha Stewart, Gayle King, Steve Harvey, Monica, R. Kelly, AJ, Vivica Fox, media outlets and urban radio Program Directors from all over the country were invited to take part in hearing her new album I Look To You slated for release in September.

Alicia Keys was also there alongside her man Swizz Beats and word has it that the two were acting very affectionate with one another, videotaping themselves having fun and dancing to the song they produced for Whitney on her album called Million Dollar Bill. I guess they're ready to go public now.

The crowd was pleasantly surprised to find out that R.Kelly produced 2 tracks on the album, which explains why he was there in the first place.

But the memorable part of the whole album was when Whitney's old song A Song For You was played. She decided to put the song on the comeback album and the crowd went crazy! Sources are saying that everyone was cheering, crying, feeling very emotional about the song and that everyone agreed Ms. Whitney Houston was back!

A true powerhouse voice!

WHITNEY HOUSTON IS LOOKING CIRCA 90'S ALL OVER AGAIN!!

Can you believe that's her?!

Whitney Houston has been steady-fast, working non stop promoting and touring all over for her come back album that's slated to come out on September 1st.

She was in London, hosting a listening party for her new record and sources are saying that the responses were excellent!

She looks absolutely stunning!! Reminds me of her days with The Bodyguard, Heartbreak Hotel, Your Love is My Love & all of those good 90's joints, when she didn't look cracked out and had the voice we know her for.

So many great albums coming out!!!

WHITNEY HOUSTON IS WORKING WITH AKON & ALICIA KEYS

I wrote a couple of weeks ago that Whitney Houston's comeback album (sans crack) will be released on September 1st, around the same time Mariah Carey is expected to drop hers too. It's the battle of the iconic divas again, like the way it was back in the day huh!

New details have surfaced about who will be appearing on the album with her! And the list is super super ill.

Grammy winner Alicia Keys wrote & co-produced a track on Whitney's album. The legend has reportedly been chasing Alicia for years to work with her and it's finally come true. Alicia's lover/producer Swizz Beats helped to produce the song as well.

A couple that works together, stays together.

Famous songwriter Diane Warren who's created massive hits for artists such as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Whitney herself and so much more did some song. Production group Stargate also contributed. Her first single however will be produced by David Foster, an industry name, nobody can deny.

The track that leaked last year featuring Akon entitled Like I Never Left will be also be included, but the finished version of course.

Sounds like a well put together comeback album. But there's more!

Word has it that the album will be a mix of strong melodic ballads & 80's dance music, like her hit singles "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "How Will I Know".

OMG. Release this now!!!!!
