Derrion Albert was a 16-year-old honor student from Chicago going to a community center he always attends after school. On the day of this brutal attack, he went to the location at the same time a gang fight was happening!
Captured in part on a cell phone video, the video shows Derrion. an innocent bystander, being knocked unconscious when he was first struck in the head with a board and then punched in the face by a second person. He regained consciousness and was trying to get up when he was attacked a second time by five people and was struck in the head with a board again and then stomped in the head till he laid dead. . .
Since the killers faces were captured on the video, they were identified, arrested and admitted to the crime.
Tragic. Unbelievable. Unnecessary . . . So sad. . .
Keep in mind the toxicology reports aren't in yet, so there isn't a definitive answer as to how DJ AM died.
However, People Magazine's reporting that he may have deliberately tried to kill himself, a conclusion made from the evidence found at the scene:
When AM was found in his apartment, he had eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach and a ninth in his mouth!
The one unswallowed pill suggests that he was taking the pills quickly, too quickly for his body to be able to handle. Also, directly next to his body, investigators found a crack pipe. When his body was shifted, crack was found underneath him.
Along with drugs, DJ AM had propped a mirror against the front door of the apartment along with the door to his bedroom, making it more difficult for officials to get to him. He also had several personal items scattered out in the open near his body, including photos and love notes from his girlfriend, Haley Wood. The two had recently split up and when DJ AM was found, close to his person was a Valentine's Day card that read: "Thank God you're in my life. I love you."
A law enforcement source reveals that this type of evidence could be linked to a suicide attempt, though at the moment, without any autopsy or toxicology results, it is still being treated as an accidental overdose.
DJ AM's girlfriend recently sent out a statement saying that the two were very much together when he passed & the horriblemade up stories about them breaking up and her being the reason he died are all untrue!

The coroner's report from MJ's death has been leaked & it's now ruled that Michael's passing was a homicide!
According to the Associated Press:
The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide Monday after a search warrant affidavit revealed that Jackson had lethal levels of the powerful anesthetic propofol in his system when he died.
The document unsealed Monday allowed officials to raid the Houston offices and storage facility of Dr. Conrad Murray last month.
According to the warrant, Murray, Jackson’s personal physician, had been treating the singer for insomnia with the sedative for six weeks. According to the document, Murray said he had been trying to wean Jackson off the powerful sedative by using smaller doses in combination with the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam.
On the morning Jackson died, Murray said he tried to induce sleep without using propofol, starting first with valium at 1:30 a.m. When Jackson was still awake at 2 a.m., Murray injected Jackson with lorazepam, then injected him with midazolam at 3 a.m. Murray told police he administered several other drugs over the next few hours.
By 10:40 a.m., Jackson, still unable to sleep, urged Murray to give him propofol. Murray said in court documents that he administered 25 milligrams of the drug at that time, then left Jackson alone under the influence of the drug to make phone calls to his Houston office. When he returned, Jackson was not breathing. He performed CPR while a member of Jackson’s staff called 911. The singer was rushed to UCLA Medical Center where he was declared dead sometime later.
The affidavit says, while Murray acknowledged to police that he administered propofol, authorities find no evidence that he had purchased, ordered or obtained the medication under his medical license or Drug Enforcement Administration tracking number. Police detectives found about eight bottles of the anesthetic in Jackson’s house along with other vials and pills that had been prescribed to Jackson by Dr. Murray, Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger.
Valium, lorazepam, clonazepam, tamsulosin and other drugs also were confiscated in the search, and propofol was found in Murray’s medical bag. According to the warrant, Murray told police he was not the first doctor to administer propofol to the singer.
Authorities subpoenaed medical records from Klein, Metzger and Dr. David Adams, in addition to Murray, the affidavit states. They also asked for medical records from Dr. David Slavitt, who conducted the independent medical examination of Jackson for Anschuntz Entertainment Group, Dr. Randy Rosen and nurse practitioner Cherilyn Lee.
The affidavit also states that Jackson told Murray that two doctors in Germany had given him propofol. Murray said he repeatedly asked Jackson what other physicians were treating him and what drugs they were prescribing. Murray said Jackson refused to give the information.
Michael Jackson's death will be finally be brought to justice!
According to a law enforcement source, Dr. Conrad Murray will be charged with manslaughter for the death of Michael Jacking within the next 2 weeks FOX News reports!
The source initially said Dr. Conrad Murray could be arrested as soon as next Wednesday — but investigators have decided to execute one more search warrant, likely at a Los Angeles pharmacy, next week in an attempt to gather more evidence against him. The arrest is now expected the following week.
However the DA's office is said to be currently in talks with investigators about whether they will offer Murray the option of surrendering in Los Angeles, or if he will be arrested in Houston, where he is currently staying.
Investigators initially had hoped to charge Murray with a more serious crime than manslaughter — a defendant may be charged with second degree murder in California without the presence of a motive — but prosecutors are concerned that a jury will be unlikely to convict without one, sources said. Unless evidence is found in next week’s search, Murray will be charged with manslaughter.
Murray won't bethe only doctor who faces criminal charges in connection with MJ death!
An additional lawn enforcement source told FOX News that Dr. Arnold Klein, Jackson’s longtime dermatologist, will be hit with charges related to medical malpractice. Investigators are still building their case against Klein, and he will not be arrested for at least another two weeks.
Katherine Jackson has recieved full custody of MJ's 3 children as of yesterday. Debbie Rowe is allowed visitation rights but I doubt she'll ever come around.
In news about MJ's death, there are new details stating that a medical aide could be the reason why the King of Pop died Apparently while Dr. Murray was asleep while administering Propofol to Mike, the aide came in and gave MJ his usual dose of Demerol on top of what he was already using! According to court documents, Michael's $400 milliondebt is expected to be completely cleared with the money in his estate. MJ's co-executors to his estate said they're in the process of wrapping up a few deals that will generate millions of dollars of revenues for the estate.
The $5.5 million that was missing from MJ's house has finally surfaced. The money was set aside for his children and was hidden within Mike's home but police couldn't find it. Dr. Tohme Tohme, MJ's former financial advisor had the money and told the police that MJ had given it to him to purchase a house in Las Vegas. Ummm okay???
Reports are saying that fishy Dr. Conrad Murray told LAPD later that MJ had a closet full of pills and prescription drugs, including Propofol. Funny thing is, the drugs were packed away & concealed so that it wouldn't look obvious to a stranger's eye if they were to see the closet & suspect anything.
In 2003, MJ's dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein asked Dr. Harvey Richmond, a gynecologist specializing in vaginal rejuvenation & who worked on the same floor as Klein, if he could use Richmond's offices to perform a minor acne treatment on MJ under full anesthesia. Richmond thought it was odd that Klein was using full anesthesia for acne treatment, but agreed and arranged for an anesthesiologist and scrub tech to work on MJ.
What's the fishiest about Dr. Murray is the latest relevation! On the day of MJ's death at 9:22am, reports say that 2 employees were spotted going into Murray's Houston offices & carrying out box loads of paperwork and files from his storage unit into their cars & driving away. What were the employees taking from the storage unit?? Files of who?? For what??? And the funniest thing about this is, Michael's phone call to 911 was placed at 12:22pm on the same day. This does not add up!!! Somethin is really funky in here mang.
Lastly, the latest reports are claiming that MJ's entire nose was missing from his face when he was taken to the Los Angeles morgue!
So what was in place of his nose then?? According to the coroners at the county morgue, a small dark hole surrounded by bits of cartilage was in place of where his nose once laid.
And allegedly, sources are saying MJ had to wear a prosthetic nose to hide the effects of his plastic surgery abuse & was deeply shy about the whole thing.
Well at least we know now why his nose always looked different & funky in public. Speaking of plastic surgery, a site conjured up a picture of what Mike would've looked like by the time he passed; if he didn't have any surgeries, or bleach his skin & get chemical & laser peels.
All of this is so sad!!! From the coroners releasing private info, to Dr. Arnold Klein's adding to Mike's addiction, to him having to rock a fake nose & especially to Dr. Conrad Murray & his suspect movements!!

WBC boxing champion Vernon The Viper Forrest was shot to death yesterday at a gas station in Atlanta in an apparent carjacking.
Atlanta Police Sergeant Lisa Keyes confirmed Forrest’s death earlier today, stating that the veteran boxer died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Forrest was at a gas station around 11PM on Saturday, and was attempting to put air in his Jaguar tires while his girlfriend’s young son waited in the vehicle. According to authorities, Forrest was armed and chaseddown two assailants who attempted the carjacking.
When he returned to his car, Forrest was shot 7 to 8 times with semi-automatics weapons, with at least one being to the head, and the rest in the back.

Canada's former junior welterweightboxingsensation Arturo Gatti was founddeadin Brazil on Saturday.
And who's the main suspect?? None other than his wife!
23 year old Brazilian Amanda Rodrigues is being accused by Brazilian authorities in Gatti's death after his body was found early Saturday in a vacation apartment they were renting in Porto de Galinhas.
Rodrigues was the first to find the body of her 37 year old husband, who was apparently strangled with the strap of a purse, which was found at the scene withbloodstains! Police said Rodrigues couldn't explain how she spent nearly10 hours in the apartment without realizing that Gatti was dead!
Rodrigues told police she had afight with Gatti after dinner Friday night and he pushed her to the ground, causing minor injuries to her elbow and chin. She said Gatti was drunk and that a third person likely killed him after he went to the apartment by himself.
Her story makes no sense. Fishscale to the max!

You know the week can't start out right without discussing the latest details in the Michael Jackson case.
Michael's death could very well turn into a criminal investigation according to LA Police Chief William Bratton.
Bratton told CNN that his department is awaiting the coroner's final report to decide whether to proceed with the investigation as a homicide case or as an accidental drug overdose.
Dr. Conrad Murray and Dr. Arnold Klein have not been cooperating with authorities police say. The two were asked to hand over all of their documents and files to investigators but both failed to give up all their information.
As previously stated,Jackson had dozens of injection marks and punctures all over his body the day he died. Law enforcement sources say that some of the injections were old and some were fresh. They were found on his upper arms, upper legs, ankles, inside around his knees and the neck.
A doctor who treated Michael claimed the singer self-injected Demerol into his system.
Retired L.A. County Sheriff's deputy Michael Laperruque who worked as Jackson's security said some doctors were trying to get Jackson off of Demerol, and that one of the doctor's in Santa Barbara "was upset with him because he had been self-injecting."
Laperruque told detectives he had picked up Jackson's prescriptions for the singer, usually under the name Chris Carter. Carter was one of Jackson's bodyguards.
Laperruque also told detectives one time when he was at Neverland his job was to keep Jackson's family out because they were planning an intervention.
Most of the prescriptions for Michael were under different aliases & his security and whoever was around would be the ones to go pick them up.
His three children, originally scheduled for a hearing this morning, has beenpostponed for a week. The move was requested by both Katherine Jackson, who was awarded temporary guardianship, and Debbie Rowe, Jackson's ex-wife and the mother of Prince Michael and Paris Jackson.

Paris Hilton's My New BFF Britain runner up died suddenly last Friday.
She was only 25 years young and how she died still remains a mystery. Authorities are investigating her death and have ruled out any foul play for the time being.

Michael Jackson's nutritionist broke her silence about the possible cause of his death. Here's the interview:
My lawdddd! The DEA is now involved in the investigation as well. They're trying to sort out the physicians and doctors who authorized the many medications seized from Michael's house, as well as medications that had to be prescribed to him, in order for him to have.
If he took this damn anesthetic medicine. . . & that's what caused his death, someone's gonna be in a whole heap of trouble!
Quincy Jones, superstar and legend producer, sat down with Vogue Magazine and discussed Michael's death just a few days after he passed away.
His answers are starting to create some sort of backlash with fans and the media. He touched on some sensitive topics and did not hold anything back:
Interviewer: You were there to witness the strange evolution in Michael's appearance. Did you ever step in and saying anything about it?
Quincy:Oh, we talked about it all the time. But he'd come up with, "Man, I promise you I have this disease," and so forth, and "I have a blister on my lungs," and all that kind of b.s. It's hard, because Michael's a Virgo, man—he's very set in his ways. You can't talk him out of it. Chemical peels and all that stuff.
Interviewer:Did you believe him about the disease?
Quincy:I don't believe in any of that bullshit, no. No. Never. I've been around junkies and stuff all my life. I've heard every excuse. It's like smokers—"I only smoke when I drink" and all that stuff. But it's bullshit. You're justifying something that's destructive to your existence. It's crazy. I mean, I came up with Ray Charles, man. You know, nobody gonna pull no wool over my eyes. He did heroin 20 years! Come on. And black coffee and gin for 40 years. But when he called me to come over to see him when he was in the hospital on his way out, man, he had emphysema, hepatitis C, cirrhosis of the liver, and five malignant tumors. Please, man! I've been around this all my life. So it's hard for somebody to pull the wool over my eyes. But when somebody's hell-bent on it, you can't stop 'em.
Interviewer:But it must've been so disturbing to see Michael's face turn into what it turned into.
Quincy:It's ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black.
Interviewer:Is that what it was?
Quincy:Well, what do you think? You see his kids?
Interviewer:Did you ever discuss it? Did you ever ask, "Michael, don't you want to be a black man?"
Quincy:No, no, no, please. That's not the way you do it.
Interviewer:But he was beautiful before?
Quincy:Man, he was the most gorgeous guy.
Interviewer:But he seemed to have some deep-seated issue with how he looked?
Quincy:Well, that comes about a certain way. I'm not sure how it happens. I'm just a musician and a record producer. I'm not a psychiatrist. I don't understand all that stuff. We all got problems. But there's a great book out called Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart. Did you see that? That book says the statute of limitations has expired on all childhood traumas. Get your stuff together and get on with your life, man. Stop whinin' about what's wrong, because everybody's had a rough time, in one way or another.

So according to the Associated Press, Dr. Conrad Murray, the cardiologist who was Michael's private doctor and performed CPR on him did it the wrong way, a Jackson family confidant claimed yesterday. The source claims that the doctor found Michael on the floor in his rented Los Angeles mansion and put him in a bed. The problem is though when administering CPR on someone, youmust put them against a hard surface.
"Michael was on the floor first, and they put him on the bed, and then started compressions on the bed," said the source, who had spoken to a Jackson relative. "What kind of doctor is that?"
In a transcript of the 911 call, the person seeking help says Jackson is "on the bed." The dispatcher says, "OK, let's get him down to the floor."
Edward Chernoff, a lawyer for Murray, yesterday said the doctor found Jackson in his bed with a faint pulse.
He told The Associated Press that Dr. Murray was at the pop icon's mansion Thursday afternoon when he discovered Jackson and immediately began administering CPR with his hand behind his back to provide the necessary support because Jackson was so frail.
"He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn't breathing," the lawyer said. "Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse."
Murray, who spoke to the LAPD for three hours on Saturday, is a licensed MD and specializes in cardiology, although he is not board-certified. Officers called Murray a witness to the tragedy and not a suspect in Michael's death.
Jackson hired Murray last month as he prepared for a grueling 50-date concert series in London that had been set to start in July.
Chernoff also said Murray never prescribed or gave Jackson the powerful painkillers Demerol or OxyContin. He denied reports suggesting Murray gave Jackson an injection of Demerol shortly before his death.
"One of his best friends just died, essentially in his arms — yeah, he's looking forward to telling his story," Chernoff said, regarding his client's request not to speak publicly until after the investigation.
"Dr. Murray has never prescribed nor administered Demerol to Michael Jackson," Chernoff said. "Not ever. Not that day. Not OxyContin for that matter."

He was found dead and unresponsive in his home today in Tampa, Florida at the age of 50. But just yesterday, a flight that he was on, blew out 2 of their front tires while landing at the Tampa airport!

So I was waiting until today to post what's been going on with new details about MJ's death.
First, Michael's live-in doctor who has been identified as Dr. Conrad Murray has been found and will cooperate with law enforcements. An autopsy was conducted on Friday on MJ's body and the results had no signs of any foul play. However, the Jackson family has requested for a 2nd autopsy, which was done yesterday. No word yet on the results. Even so, the toxicology tests won't be done for a couple of weeks so until those results come out, we won't know the actual cause of death.
The cause of death is important in regards to the concert promoters for Michael Jackson's 50 show comeback tour. Now that Michael has passed away, they're left to refund money to all the concert go-ers, but how much is to be paid back and how much they're losing, all depends on how Michael died in accordance to their insurance contract. The cause of death will play an important factor in Dr. Conrad Murray's role as well. The Texas certified physician is denying that he played any part in Michael's death and that he is certain he is not responsible. Murray's attorney says that the LAPD doesn't consider Dr. Murray a suspect but needs his help in piecing together what occurred on the day leading up to Mike's death.
So rumors of him being the reason Mike died is ruled out.. for now. Joe Jackson, Michael's father, has been very open about not trusting Dr. Murray and feels that the doctor is not in the clear yet! It's kind of fishy that 11 days beforeMichael's death, Dr. Murray sent a personal letter to all of his clientele, stating that he will no longer be their physician and is leaving his private practice indefinitely.
The Jackson family issued a statement to the press:
“In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter. Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.
“We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you - who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever.
“In addition, Joseph Jackson wishes to personally convey: ‘My grandchildren are deeply moved by all the love and support you have shown for them and their father, Michael Jackson.’”

I am truly heartbroken, sad, angry, upset, whatever word is left in the dictionary to describe the state of mourning.
No, I did not know the legend, but through his music, I feel like I did.
Michael Jackson was constantly playing on my dad's record player while all of us danced our hearts out and I remember whenever he'd perform on TV, award shows, the Bucharest concert (where everyone was fainting), his movies Moonwalker or The Wiz, or just music videos, it would be an event in my house and we'd all gather around the TV, anticipating whatever concerned Michael Jackson like it was New Years.
My parents came to America in 1980 and loved music as well. They bought their first vinyl, The Motown Hits and then their 2nd purchase was the Thrillervinyl. They saved what little money they had from washing dishes at a restaurant to buy it.
I'm so devastated. Don't know what else to say.
Michael has sold over 750 million records worldwide and was the creator of the evolution of the music video. All musicians of all genres are influenced by him.
He's our generation Elvis Presley. Best believe his funeral will look exactly like Elvis'. Here's a photo:

Crews took apart the wreckage today from a subway train collision that killed nine people and injured others in Washington D.C. A federal investigator revealed an old train involved in the crash should have been replaced because of safety concerns!
Investigators told The Associated Press that the NTSB had warned of safety problems and recommended the old fleet be phased out or retrofitted to make it better withstand a crash.
Neither was done, which the NTSB considered "unacceptable."

The crash sent more than 70 people to hospitals. Metro officials said two men and seven women, all adults, were killed.
The World Health Organization (WHO) held a meeting with their nations and they declared the swine flua world wide pandemic. This is the first global flu epidemic since 41 years ago!
The WHO decided to raise the pandemic warning level from phase 5 to 6 after holding an emergency meeting on swine flu with its experts. 6 is the highest WHO alert level.
The WHO added that the global pandemic alert for swine flu does not mean the disease is deadlier than previously thought. However, the announcement puts into perspective, the global spread of the disease.
The last pandemic occured in Hong Kong in 1968. It killed about 1 million people. The regular form of flu kills about 250,000-500,000 people a year. So in terms of death, the swine flu hasn't been abundant as far as numbers in deaths.
But do not sleep on this disease. I just found out that there are already 15 deaths reported in NYC.
