7 BODIES PULLED FROM HUDSON PLANE CRASH

A helicopter and a private plane crashed into one another a midst the NYC sky Saturday. No one is believed to have survived.

Here's the story from Yahoo News:

Divers pulled a helicopter and four more bodies out of the murky Hudson River on Sunday in their search for victims, wreckage and explanations from a midair collision of a sightseeing helicopter and a small plane that killed nine people.

The dead from Saturday's crash include three fathers and their three teenage sons. The private plane carried a family from Pennsylvania, and the helicopter held five Italian tourists celebrating a couple's 25th wedding anniversary.

The plane approached the helicopter, which had just taken off for a 12-minute tour, from behind and clipped it with a wing, witnesses said. Both aircraft split apart and fell into the river.

Searchers fought swift currents, dealt with visibility as low as one foot, and dodged debris dumped along the river bottom as they brought four more bodies on to boats. One was found in the fuselage of the helicopter, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones said. Two bodies remained missing.

The searches went on as a steady stream of tour boats floated down the Hudson. Restrictions put in place after the crash kept sightseeing helicopter tours grounded Sunday.

Divers suspended their search at about 6 p.m. Sunday and it will resume Monday morning, National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Keith Holloway said.

So tragic. Another plane crash. . more lives lost. . . like I said before it's the Summer of Death.

ANOTHER PLANE CRASH: 168 PASSENGERS DEAD

According to Yahoo News via The Associated Press, a Russian-made Iranian passenger plane carrying 168 people crashed shortly after takeoff yesterday, nose-diving into a field northwest of the capital and shattering into flaming pieces.

All on board were killed in Iran's worst air disaster in six years, officials said.

Before crashing, the plane's tail was on fire as it circled in the air, one witness told The Associated Press.

The impact blasted a deep trench in the dirt field, which was littered with smoking wreckage, body parts and personal items from the Tupolev jet, according to photos from the scene. Firefighters put out the flaming wreckage, which officials said was strewn over a 200 yard area.

Iran has seen numerous crashes in recent years and its airlines have been plagued by maintenance problems. In part, Iranian carriers are chronically cashed-strapped and unable to buy new planes.

Another plane crash and here I am, writing another R.I.P. . .

I've been writing R.I.P's every week now.

This is definitely the most commercial plane crashes ever in a year. Is God trying to tell us something??

Lots of deaths & tragedies within the 2 months!!!

YEMENIA AIRWAYS AIRBUS PLANE CRASHES: ONE CHILD SURVIVOR IS FOUND

Another
Airbus plane went down yesterday at approximately 1:30am.

The Yemenia Airways Airbus plane, carrying 153 passengers crashed off the coast of Comoros (off the coast, east of Africa) in the Indian Ocean.

A massive rescue effort was under way today after a young child was found among the wreckage and was taken to a hospital. Yemenia authorities are sending the French Navy ships and a plane in hopes to find more survivors.

A reconnaissance plane was the one who spotted traces of the Airbus A310-300 in the waters off the town of Mistamiouli. The crash was blamed on bad weather, noting that there were high seas and windy weather at the time.

The Air France plane that crashed off Brazil on the way to Paris carrying 228 passenger was also an Airbus plane.

These Airbus planes cannot be trusted!!! Did you know they were re-designed by the European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) group???? Hmmm. You would think these people would design the plane to be more sufficient in bad weather, when they're already developing spaceships and things of that nature!

They nailed it with the interior decor though. Look at the inside!!!

These plane crashes are too frequent. Too damn frequent.

PETAIRWAYS

Photobucket

Pet-friendly airline PetAirways is expected to launch their new plane for animal owners who want to send their animals overseas or to another location by air without having them put into cargo or have them be sedated.

Awww thats cute!!

On July 14th, PetAirways will offer pet-exclusive flights from Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. for the low price of $250 each way. Still pricey for me! Well I guess if you could send your pet on their own flight, $250 is just pocket change.

It was reported from 2007 until 2008, there were 29 animal deaths, 13 injured animals and 7 lost pets from flying =(. Founder Alysa Binder started the company so animals live's would no longer be in jeopardy when traveling through cargo. You go girl.

The passengers will each have their own crate in coach, PetAirways will make potty-pit stops along the way during long hour flights so every pet is comfortable throughout the flight!

Hmmmm. I wonder if they'll get to watch movies and nosh on peanuts too. Not too shabby & a wonderful idea!
