THE SOURCE POWER 30 LIST

In the new issue of The Source, the magazine honors their usual top 30 power players in hip hop culture, business, politics, entertainment and lifestyle.

Rapper-mogul Jay-Z is ranked No. 1 on the Source magazine's new Power 30 list.

The publication says the Brooklyn boss tops the list because he's an industry leader and a top businessman – with ventures including Live Nation, his clothing line Rocawear, and his part-ownership of the New Jersey Nets.

Other Power 30 list-makers include Diddy, Will.i.Am, 50 Cent, Kimora Lee, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain.

President Barack Obama also made the list because of his influence on the new hip-hop generation.

Jigga is doing his thang thang.
