PATRICK SWAYZE DIES AT 57

Patrick Swayze, who has been battling pancreatic cancer for some time now , passed away today at the young age of 57.




Too many souls lost during this deathly summer. . . .

JAY-Z PAYS TRIBUTE TO MCA AT ALL POINTS WEST

The great Hova himself took the Beastie Boys' place as the headliner for the All Points West Festival when MCA broke the news to everyone he had cancer and would have to cancel all performances until he gets treatments for the disease.



So Jay-Z did a wonderful gesture when he opened the show this past weekend:

Beastie Boys member Adam MCA Yauch has announced that he's been diagnosed with cancer.



All shows and future work are cancelled until further notice.



MCA says that doctors were able to detect the tumor early & that he'll be treating it immediately.
